slam a door shut before my muse can leave the room

I interpreted this as him slamming and blocking the door so she can’t leave- I’m not sure if you were going for him exiting the room and slamming the door in her face before she can leave, but I can edit/change her response if I need to.

This is set around the beginning of the RED team/start of their involvement in the gravel wars

“Oh? Excuse me?”

Messenger stared at The Scout blocking her exit with a dead-pan smile that didn’t reach her eyes. Being stopped and kept in a location was not something that sat well with her. Here she was trying to make a decent first impression on her new teammates and the gangly speedracer had to go and be like that. Not that she was entirely surprised: when Helen had first given her the rundown on her new (permanent) assignment, she had seen the ages (some approximations) on everyone’s files. Scout’s had made her groan. She had enough problems with the immaturity and bravado of men her own age, let alone one five years younger.

She wasn’t the best with concealing irritation. 

“Can I help you?”

Round start (same team): 

1. How the [beep] do you always smell nice? Is it shampoo? Lotion? Magic? Are you forbidden to speak of it? 

2. P, I know you can take care of yourself but seriously, anything you need, you can call on me, okay?

3. [murmured] Huh my nerves are really down…my hands aren’t even shaking. Must be having the third most competent and intimidating woman in the world with me.

Round start (enemy teams, spotted through the gate): 

1. Welp. I had a good run.

2. Oh come on! [bleep] you lucky bastards!

Delivery Shot (Health): 

1. Take a heal for the road!

2. Make them bleed purple! 

3. Cannon you hold still for a minute? I mean, you did. Already. Bad delivery. Carry on.

Delivery Shot (Ammo): 

1. Gunner up! I…honestly don’t know what I was going for there. 

2. The best gun magazine is the one that goes in the gun.

My TF2 OC Messenger in her 10th Class Verse- AKA Mercsenger. I usually think about her being on RED, but I wanted to play with her BLU color scheme too. Plus she’s pretty literally in the Administrator’s pocket, so she goes where she’s told.
